The doctor recommended I take valproic acid before bedtime. The point of maximum expression of the drug begins at 4 hours has been taken. I took the drug at 22: 00h the early days. Then I delayed decision at 24: 00h. With this we obtain that if side effects do occur overnight. We also got to the peak of drug activity occurring during daylight hours we need it most.

By taking the drug at 24:00h (or even later) we get up in the morning to get up and have the maximum plasma concentrations. This level would start at 4:00h and continue until 17:00h.Valproic acid removal takes 17 hours. So from 17:00h our level of valproic acid levels will decrease until it disappears completely on 07:00 h the following day. Keep in mind that valproic acid hardly excreted in the urine (only 3%), but it is metabolized by the liver.
If we did not take the dose one day, the next day the pain would begin to recover less distance walked. As our muscles no glycogen accumulation would not have as severe seizure the early hours. As will accumulate glycogen in the muscle during the following hours aches and stiffness begin to appear, first of softer character and in a few days would have the same symptoms as before taking the drug.
That's what happened to me on January 1, 2015. On the night of December 31 did not take the drug why drink alcohol (wine and champagne) during dinner and New Year celebration. The next day the pain appeared much earlier for several measurements. In the graph you can see the deterioration. The good news is that by taking a pill taken the next day to retrieve become successful.
